High was 60 (15.4 c) today. The high occurred around noon then the temp slowly decreased with gusty winds throughout the day.
Tomorrow has snow forecast, hopefully weβll get a couple inches.

/photo/1 feels so nice out this past week compared to the last When London at 52*N is warmer at night in winter than a place 20 degrees closer to the equator at sea level in Australia on the edge of the world's second largest subtropical desert in summer. Fuck. My. Life.

This month is playing out almost exactly like Feb 2012 - cold first half, then a sudden switch to mild in the second half.

Kristianstad in eastern Scania reached 16.0'C on one of its tri-urnal measurements. It's a manual station which means the temperature only gets observed at 07.00, 13.00 and 19.00 with max/min vales for the last 12h at 07 and 19. The Swedish all time Febuary record is 16.7'C from 2019. If Kristianstad recorded 16.0 on 13.00, it's very possible that it reached 17'C sometime during the day.

Very mild winter day today, up to 48 F (9 C). Low of just 35 F (2 C). First day in over 2 months it's been above freezing for 24+ hours.

More boring fuck shit here, not much to discuss. Overnight low was 70 F (21.1 C) and it's currently 73 F (22.8 C) with a 70 F (21.1 C) dew point and cloudy skies and some showers in the area. Predicted high is 82 F (27.8 C) but we won't reach that if the clouds/showers linger around.

It seems the readings weren't accepted because they aren't on the top temp list anymore. Now the number 1 spot is Kalmar with 14.2'C

First 20Β°C high of the year in Paris today. The wind is calm, the sky is clear, we're supposedly in winter and it's still 13Β°C. Outrageous.

This recent mild spell has been absolutely glorious after the cold snap we had. Today was day 4 of March-like temperatures and I love it!
One of the nicest parts of this is the much higher humidity, my hands are far less dry than they'd been for the last little while, and relative humidity in my apartment manages to stay decently high now.

Ah so this is what caused the sudden and intense downpour yesterday. Shame I couldn't see this with my own eyes though.

Picked up 1.3β (3 cm) of snow this evening. Itβs really cool watching the snow come in and gradually cover up the mountains.

A good illustration of how localized rainfall can be here sometimes. 4.16" (106 mm) and 4.13" (105 mm) within Pompano Beach, and not much elsewhere. Literally a strong cell that sat over Pompano and stagnated there for a while. This is about 10-20 miles north of Fort Lauderdale in NE Broward County.
