This is my ideal coldest cfa, and ideally the coldest climate that should be accepted as Cfa had koppen been reasonable. AJ1013. This is also unstable, but still much more stable than similar climates in the eastern us, like a lot more stable lol. Coldest mean for this is 38, id perhaps take down to 36 mean as cfa. Its a Greensboro / Roanoke hybrid.

Subtropical climates shouldn't be getting so much cold and snow. Not acceptable, IMO.

B+ A touch too warm, and April and November are weirdly dry. I wouldn't consider it subtropical either.

I'd consider this subtropical. C-, warmer than I like. For rain and sun, the only issue is that summer has a few too many wet days. Why have the drier period in April and November?

A-. Not bad at all, and I would agree that this is as cold as a climate can be while being truly subtropical. Boston and NYC should by all means be humid continental!
