This is a Namibia-like NW South African coastal climate severely affected by the Benguela Current resulting in extremely low seasonal swings for its 28S latitude and a desert climate that makes Arica look like Saharan heat waves. The warmest month in Port Nolloth is like Monterey, California or a typical North England summer without rain in terms of temperature even though sun strength is brutal. Winters are a bit wetter but still very dry compared to mediterranean climates further south in South Africa. Personally I rate this one a C. It's very comfy and no issues either with heat or cold. At sea level, UV strength should be the same as the Canary Islands so no real issues there either as long as one is careful! I'd miss a little bit of rain and some heat though so can't get higher than C!

Yeah exactly, no need to sweat or freeze. So in that sense they're pretty lucky. It probably feels like endless June here all year long. I wouldn't mind but I assume the water is too cold to bathe in...

A total pisstake for 29*S, ridiculously cold crummers for the latitude, practically no seasonality, and I am sure no thunderstorms to speak of.

The only thing it got more than Renmark is sand and coast right? I kind of like those climates in SA and Namibia in a way though, merely because they're so unique in everything they are. It's pretty special to have such chilly weather near the tropics.

C. Averages are lovely all year but boring as hell, and only 2 inches of yearly rain? Fuck off.

B- love the dryness even if I imagine there is a lot of fog here. Temps are pleasant but could be warmer year round.

Damn, that seasonal variation is so slight it looks like it could be an equatorial highland climate. It's hard to rate without sunshine figures, but I'm assuming it's 2500+ like Walvis Bay, in which case I rate it a B. Very boring, but a great climate for outdoor activities. The sun at that latitude would make it feel much warmer and I'm sure you wouldn't have to drive far inland to get consistent 30+ C highs in summer. Actually, those averages are probably from a site near the coast. It wouldn't surprise me if the inland suburbs were much warmer.
