Some of you guys have seen and rated this climate already, but I thought it deserved its own thread too. My dream climate is subtropical but with somewhat of a continental influence, kind of similar to Oklahoma City. Winter is a bit wetter than summer; winter is highly volatile but cool to cold on average, but it's short; spring is on its way in by the time March rolls around. Most summer days are sunny and warm with low humidity, with most of the rain in the summer coming from convective thunderstorms. The all-time record high and low temperatures are most likely one-off events; the average year has a maximum of 43'C (110'F) and a minimum of -15'C (5'F), and even so the extreme heat and cold last only a day or two. The heat, in particular, can come from either the desert to the south, or from heat bursts on stormy nights. The location is inland but with access to a lake nearby that provides some lake-effect precipitation in the winter and great sandy beaches in the summer. I did notice a typo, the December mean is supposed to be 46.9'F, not 36.9'F. Benfxmth Beercules irlinit nei

D. Too hot year round and all that winter rain is disgusting I figured that would be a common complaint. I've never particularly needed snow for it to feel like Christmas, though, but I do feel like clouds and precipitation and winter go together.

B. Epic summers, although minima are too stable; winters are slightly too mild and sunny, and far too prone to heat. Excellent precip pattern, but the difference between summer and winter sunshine is not pronounced enough. Great snowfall amounts considering how mild winter is.
Also, I wholeheartedly agree that precip and clouds make for that wintry feel.

Looks like a more extreme Blocktown, so C. Big fan of the precip pattern though.

B- Record highs are way too hot and average highs are somewhat too hot, but it gets decent precip (summer could be wetter, tho), and it at least gets some snow.

Record highs are far too hot year-round. Otherwise it's ok, though a bit on the warm side for me. C-.

C- Too warm for me.
Good things: Variable temperatures Humidity isn't extremely high in summer Variable winters with some snow and cold possible Decent temperatures outside of summer Moderate precipitation in all months
Bad things: Too hot in summer Warmer than ideal in other seasons, but generally comfortable I prefer winter to be drier than summer, this place is the opposite.
