A LOW of 30C? What a joke, you're funny Beercules. Record warmest low of all time for my previous location was 74F (23.3C) and new location is 75F (23.8C)

No you don't The average in Phoenix is 24 days with 30C+ lows so 25+ happens in less than half of years. That's still a gigantic number, there's no need to exaggerate lol.

As for the thread 30C lows are not possible here, or if they are it hasn't happened in the 125 years of records.
In Tucson it's extremely rare but possible. It's happened 10 times in recorded history so about once a decade.

Itβs happened all but 1 year since 2005 and that year had 24 so heβs not wrong. And with the UHI and global warming theyβll only get more and more common.

Yep, there goes AJ reverse Boteving again Using 2000-2019 data, which doesn't even count this year, we average 33 lows 30Β°C+, and only 5 years in that 20 had less than 25

firebird1988 You should use 1981-2010 data like everyone else, including the actual experts. And if not a 30 year rolling average is appropriate, you accuse me of boteving but that's exactly what you're doing with silly 2000-2019 "normals"

Not surprising that it happened in the two hottest summers ever. Looking at anything through the lens of just 10 or 20 years is dumb, let alone two years.

And if not a 30 year rolling average is appropriate, you accuse me of boteving but that's exactly what you're doing with silly 2000-2019 "normals" 1981-2010 normals are outdated, especially for somewhere like Phoenix. Itβs funny how you believe in global warming yet insist on using old averages. The mean for 81-10 in Phoenix was 75.0 f. Last year was the first year cooler than that since 2000. Shows how outdated and unrepresentative those normals are.
