I was the one who came up with this thread idea on CD back in 2017, simply because I thought it would be interesting to see how well we forumers really knew each other's climate tastes. Here are the basic rules: - Any user is welcome to participate.
- When posting, please post what you would consider the ideal climate of the user above you. This must be done independently; you cannot go back through an old thread and copy it from there, that's cheating.
- If you have had a climate made for you, you are encouraged to come back and give feedback.
- If you would like your post to be skipped, please indicate that in your post.
- If you post your own dream climate in this thread, you forfeit.
- Multiple users may guess or create the same user's dream climate.
Enjoy!

@josecanyousee97 The issue with this is that most of us know exactly what others dream climates are.

AJ1013 I've known you (at least in Internet terms) since 2015 and plus, I have a blank climate box template saved to my computer so I can just plunk things in. I also made no compromises for realism, didn't fill in a source, and used only numbers I knew how to work with in my head; I was trying to do it quickly.

How'd I do, guys? MET This isn't bad actually. Could be one of a number of possible dream climates for me.

I was careful not to make your summers too warm, considering the effects of your condition, but still significantly warmer than Sheffield with plenty of epic thunderstorms. And of course, I still remember the dream climate you made all the years of data for earlier this year, hence the extreme differences between the averages and records

@josecanyousee97 Beautiful climate. Just switch November and March around, and make winter precip more like 1.5-2" rather than 0" (you won't get snow with zero precipitation) and you got it.

Thank you for the compliment! Though note that the lines I used depicted rainfall and snowfall, not precipitation and snowfall - I'm not implying there's zero-precip snow or anything!

Not bad, April is too cool, no may snow please or September, and more summer rain but I'd still give it an A or A-

Good job for the most part @josecanyousee97 . Some small mistakes -- April and November have never recorded freezes in my dream climate, and the record highs and lows are just generally higher in my dream climate. Also there should be no seasonal lag, warmer average lows in summer, and zero snow in March (and generally less snow -- just 2" per year). All minor quibbles, this still earns an A+

@josecanyousee97 Here it is. It was a Southern Hemisphere tropical climate with a Mediterranean pattern iirc.

@josecanyousee97 Here it is. It was a Southern Hemisphere tropical climate with a Mediterranean pattern iirc. Love it - 3.58 to be exact. Yup you remembered all the general themes perfectly, mild winters, warm to hot summers, a Med pattern but no extreme dry season, impressive record highs, just the right amount of seasonal lag - man this will probably be the best thing I see all day. My only quibble is that summer is just a touch too dry and a smidgen too warm, but this way you definitely don't have to worry about even the slightest soupcon of crummer weather. I love how the record lows are in the 60s in the summer months, and I love the generally high precip-to-wet-day ratios - indicative of most of the rain coming in the form of some pretty epic storms! This is actually better than any real-world climate. IMO you should definitely be proud of that.
