A settled week for the most part, after a good soaking rain on Wednesday. Nice weather for outdoor Thanksgiving gatherings on Friday. In C: Monday 27/14, Tuesday 29/16, Wednesday 26/19, Thursday 27/17, Friday 28/15, Saturday 29/17, Sunday 32/18, Monday 33/20.
Up to 1" (25 mm) expected Wednesday afternoon/evening; chance of a shower or storm on Friday night, and storms expected next Monday evening as well. One last hurrah of warm weather before winter arrives in the world's greatest sub/tropical paradise.

Offshore high pressure remains in control through the first
half of the week. A weak cold front will approach later in the
week, potentially stalling nearby into next weekend.
&&
.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 PM THIS EVENING/...
As of 9:15 AM Sunday...Transient high pressure centered over the
area this morning will move offshore this afternoon. This
system will produce mostly sunny skies and very warm high temps
well into the 90s. As the high center moves offshore, light and variable winds
will become more onshore in response to developing sea breeze circulations.
The sea breeze will develop late this morning, moving
onshore by the afternoon. Some fair weather cumulus may be spurred by the
sea breeze, but generally clear skies throughout the day.

.SHORT TERM /6 PM THIS EVENING THROUGH 6 AM MONDAY/...
As of 4:10 AM Sunday...High pressure offshore to the NE
continues building, extending its influence further over the FA.
Cloud coverage dissipates this evening with loss of heating.
The afternoon's sea breeze boosts Tds to the mid-60s tonight; patchy fog inland once winds decouple
cannot be ruled out but will hold off mention of that for now. Overnight
lows in the mid to upper 60s, around 70 immediately along the
coast.

.LONG TERM /MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...
As of 3:00 AM Sun...Dry, hot conditions through the first half of
the workweek as high pressure holds strong. A weak cold
front will approach and cross the area Thursday and Friday,
with precip chances potentially lingering into the weekend if
the front remains nearby.
Monday through Wednesday: Strong ridging/subsidence aloft is
the name of the game through the first half of the week with hot
days and muggy nights. Dry conditions on tap with
some fair-weather cumulus possible with sea breeze fronts each
afternoon. Highs several degrees above normal Monday, trending
warmer each day with Wednesday bringing highs 10-15 deg above
normal (up to 105 in spots inland).
Thursday through the weekend: Thursday will be a transition day
as the upper subsidence weakens over the course of the day, with
high clouds spilling into the area ahead of a weak cold front approaching
from the northwest. Some timing uncertainty remains with the best long
range guidance, but the front looks most likely to cross the
area Friday, bringing the greatest rain chances of the forecast
period—though still mainly around 30% for now—and temps
returning to near-normal.
