OCTO8ER 2023 SUMMARY METEOMANFORD

October 2023 was, I think, the best month I've seen in Meteomanford. It was the driest month (of any) on record, and very sunny, and somehow, was warmer in the second than the first half. We hit our record maximum temperature since record began - 30.1°C - on 28th, followed by a severe thunderstorm with big hail and 100+mph winds that killed a few people. What a fantastic month. 10/10.

It was a very mild month indeed and also quite dry. There was notable drought in the first half, and it was notable how high the minimum temperatures were, with a very high minimum temperature for November. There was occasional stormy weather in the last 3rd but nothing notable. Quite a remarkable, "subtropical" month.
