On a ~750m inland plateau in north-east-central Eastern Cape. I rate this a C-. Indulgent summers but abysmal winters and warm but tumultuous shoulder seasons. Also somewhat dry every month despite the quite frequent summer storms.

A C from me. Too cool summers, but at least has mild winters, and is dryish.

B, nice all year although it could be wetter and winter lows could be warmer.

Very unusual technically-Cfb-but-just-barely climate. I don't mind it, though; B-. It actually has 2-3 months that would suffice for summer standards, better than a lot of SA climates. I'm a bit skeptical of that 44'C September record high though!

I give it a B-

I give it a B- It's also very close to Cwb and Cwa. "Subtropical highland" is a good description.

^Ah yes, Cwa because of its summer rainfall (not Cfa, which is evenly spread rainfall)

Summer averages and records aren't much different than here. Rainy days are higher, so it might get light rain instead of thunderstorms.
Winter is comfortable but boring and dry. Overall, a C. I would not hate it but I would not love it. Colder winters would help the most.

B+, pretty good. Nights are slightly cool for my liking though.
Africa has a lot of climates like this - Windhoek is another good one. Or Bloemfontein for a similar SA climate with a little more seasonality.

That's a B. The modest altitude moderates things a bit. Reminds me bit of similar altitude towns in Queensland like Herberton. ( QLD ones a bit wetter of course )

Cwa climates are one of my favorites. South Africa is well known for intense thunderstorms as well, so B+.
