1. Don't use weatherspark 2. Post pictures of the weather boxes on the original post, otherwise people won't vote

I'll post the climate boxes myself. I'll go with Amarillo for being more interesting overall, and the better chance for hot weather.

It tends to have more information than the Wiki pages and is weather specific. It tends to be inaccurate and its a general consensus on here not to use it as fact.

Amarillo. It's much more interesting despite the greater annual range in Tehran.
Also lol, there's zero chance of any type of consistent snow cover in Amarillo in the winter. I'd venture to guess snow lasting on the ground longer than a week there is rare.

They do get big snowstorms there from time to time, but it always warms up quickly after. The 9-12 C average highs during winter dictate that. The weather there is basically Denver or Goodland, KS with an added 5-7 F.....and not even Denver sees long-lasting snow cover usually.

Tehran
Far superior winters, infinitely better precip pattern, and much more snowfallβlook at those snowy days relative to rainy days, jointly with the much higher winter precip. However, Amarillo has better summers.

Tehran for not having ridiculous cold snaps, also 3,300 sunshine hours my arse, another example of inflated US sunshine.
