2009. The record breaker. Let me list the records broken for this year, it is a record in itself how many were broken -Hottest January night -Longest spell of +43Β°C temperatures (3 days) -Sunniest January -Driest January -Hottest temperature on record (February and all time) -Hottest AND coldest April nights on record -Second coldest April day (11.9Β°C, thought this was worth a mention) -Highest August avg min temp on record -Hottest September max on record (now equal) -Hottest November on record (both min and max), which included a week long stretch of temperatures above 31Β°C (+9Β°C from the average) After all that, this was not the hottest year on record. However, it is up there with one of the warmest, driest and sunniest years on record at the airport.

A while ago I made one for Sydney 1995. The second coldest year of the 90s and the only year since 1966 to be Cfb and not Cfa. But it did have the warmest and driest August on record.

Napolean, North Dakota 1936. Average high below 0 F (-18 C) in February and above 100 F (38 C) in July. February was the coldest month on record, July was the hottest month on record, It set the all time record high and the February record low which was just 1 F off the all time record low. It was also their driest year on record. Fucking awesome year.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what they call a shit year in Albury with the annual second coldest and wettest values on record. Those lucky bastards. And no, that July is not a mistake. This would be an excellent year in Melbourne, lmao. I'd love to know the sunshine values for July, I'm guessing they were around the 70-80 hour mark.

Eureka 2006, during the Western North American heat wave I never realised how some west coast North American climates were.......the all time winter record high being the same as the summer....... Months of straight rain followed by 5 months of nothing.......frigid summers ....

Fucks sake, looks like I did it I can never get my head around these Siberian climates no matter how often I see them That April probably had 250+ sun hours or something with that dryness, the sun moderately strong and pleasant as well, yet it still averaged -5C wtf?!
