This thread is to capture the stratospheric warming over the polar vortex that’s causing frigid air to make it into Southern Continental Europe, East Asia, and possibly the East coast of USA later on in the year. Already some impressive records have been set in Spain and China. What’s to come for the coastal northeast and southeast which are not accustomed to constant frigid weather.
