The Canadian Prairies. What's the point in being that cold in winter? I mean, we could all share the abundant 50N cold in equal parts. But no, the Prairies have decided to be absurdly cold at our expense. To balance it all, western Europe is obliged to feature equally abnormally mild winters. This leads to a lose-lose situation, where the blighters in SK and MB are freezing their butts off while here getting a snowflake to stick on the ground is a fucking achievement. Iowa. But I'm not really angry at them. I'm sure these fine people deserve their godsend of a climate. <3 Iowa Siberia is similar or colder at 50N. And more populated. Thank the Russians too.
Renchinlkhรผmbe are both around -27/-37 but the 2nd one must be high up as it has cool summers. Malibu, California because they got more snow than Vancouver this winter (so far). Good chance it remains that way for the remainder of winter. While I have seen more snow than Malibu, I have less than parts of Oklahoma and Texas. But I should catch up and pass them eventually.

Seattle, especially from The Blob years
Western Europe, particularly UK, as itโs significantly warmer than Moscow at the same latitude
Now switched over to Paris because Paris gets insane heatwaves and warmth in the summer despite much cooler averages
Also Frankfurt. Frankfurt might as well be called โFortaleza de Francoโ cause itโs climate has been way warmer than it should be recently

Boston, because they seem to match or exceed our snow totals even though their average temps are 3 F warmer.

Western Europe in winter. Yes, I know how oceanic moderation works, but still it's hard seeing them get above freezing temperatures while still enjoying earlier sunsets/later sunrises.

Does my own location count? The weather here never fails to piss me off in some way.
But in all seriousness - inland FL and central FL can get fucked. Not that unusual for these places to be getting frosts meanwhile here in Fuckwitville it struggles to drop below 50 F (10 C). And then in the summer, they got much stronger thunderstorms than down here. Seriously, they can get fucked.
Brownsville, TX and South TX in general is another place that can get dicked as far as I'm concerned. Their cold snaps make ours embarrassing despite the similar latitude. They also get many more instances of snow in South TX compared to FL.

Dickago, also known as Shitcago, is really pissing me off right now, as their averages at the moment are only about 8F colder than us but their current 7-day forecast is an extremely enviable 25F colder than us.

Southern Spain when they're warmer than average in winter at the same time we're colder than average. WHY CAN'T IT BE 80'F IN WINTER HERE FOR ONCE?
Rhinelander, WI always gets more-epic storms than we do. Yesterday was a prime example. We still got a respectable 6.7" of snow, but of course Rhinelander had to come out on top with 10.4", a new record for the date. Happens all the time in summer when we get thunderstorms too. Those inbred drug-addicted rednecks are spoiled when it comes to weather.

Scottsbluff.
It gets more heat, more cold, more variability, more storms, you name it.
While we have a borecast with a coldest high of 27 per NWS. Meanwhile, the Scottsfuckers an 11/-5 day forecast. Fuck you.
Not too mention they had an 86 mph wind gust in January, hit -10 f this past October and 105 f this last September.

Right, but at my latitude in France, you'll still find January record highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s, and it's not like Southern Spain is tropical either. I'm at the same latitude as Genoa, Italy. Their average annual temperature is 15.7'C. Mine is about 7.6'C. That ain't right, man!

Burns, Lakeview, Alturas, et al come to mind. When it's struggling to get below 20 at the Mt Hood ski resorts they're gonna have lows in the single digits or even below zero forecast. Every. Time.

Katherine, 300klm south of Darwin, and at the base of the Top End, has one of those climates that even die hard heat lovers despise. www.weatherzone.com.au/climate/station.jsp?lt=site&lc=14932It is either too hot for 8 months of the year, too cold for 3 months of the year, almost always too dry and misses out on epic monsoonal rains, but if a low from the Gulf meanders across the base of the Top End, well then the bastards steal all our coastal rain, and the Katherine River innundates the town with 12' of water in the main street. The 'build up' season of brutal heat and humidity often lasts between Oct and April if the monsoons fail ( as in the past coupla seasons ). And the casual Darwin visitor in June and July damn near freezes to death because A/- we don't own jumpers and jackets and hoodies and B/- we refuse to believe the nights can drop below 5c in the dry season months. Katherine folks often complain of a mythical 'dome' shielding the town of storm activity whilst the other 290klm of road up to Darwin gets hammered by epic storm cells. And for one who sometimes has to work outdoors here in this wretched district, these are the new monthly mean max temp records set in the last 14 months. Oct 2019 - 39.4c Nov 2019 - 40.4c Dec 2019 - 40.8c Jan 2020 - 36.7c Apr 2020 - 36.7c Aug 2020 - 34.8c Sep 2020 - 37.5c So in the 2019 'build up' ( Oct - Dec ) Tindal RAAF Base Katherine had 54 days exceeding 40c and only 80mm of rain. I was working on a bridge demolition job 300klm west of Katherine and it was even worse ! The sort of climate that really does piss you off !

I think I've always been a bit of jealous of the Eastern Half of North America north of say, The Carolinas. They get hotter summers, more thunderstorms AND despite being FURTHER SOUTH gets harsher cold snaps than London can dream for and the winter wonderland scenes...
I mean NYC's climate compared to London is literally superior in every single way possible.
How can I be jealous of the snow totals in places much closer to the equator? I HATE THEM!!
Also a bit jealous of Eastern Europe.

I hate days where it's only like 60ยฐF in Phoenix but it will be over 80ยฐF in the LA Area due to Santa Ana's.
But then likewise, I also get annoyed by days where it's clear and hot in the desert, but then socked in marine layer and only 60ยฐF at the beach

When I was in Rome, I was genuinely mad at Sicily, as well as the Guadalquivir Valley in southern Spain for getting 105+ยฐF highs in summer, when most of western Italy fails to break 100ยฐF in most summers.
And anywhere where there's a heat wave with triple-digit temperatures and when the temperatures are average, or below average in my location regardless of continent: FUCK YOU!

The all time record high is only 43C as well, so there doesn't seem to be much upward variability at all, unlike in Pilbara/Kimberley WA.
