Winnipeg in the summer for consistently having warmer lows, higher dew points, and better heatwaves than us.
Calgary in the winter for regularly going well above freezing (with sunshine) while we're in stuck in perpetual winter mode.
Windsor all year round for having my favorite climate in Canada and always reminding me of how far short Saskatoon falls in that regard.

Milford Sound - it does get quite a bit of rain, and only 1800 hours of sunshine, but it also get 22 days of thunder a year its literally one of the rainiest places in the world lol

Like P London I'm jealous of the Eastern US, and the rest of the US for just getting more epic weather than we could ever dream of. We get a thunderstorm here and I think oh that was pretty big and then you clock how its probably paltry to what they get over there. Likewise with heatwaves, coldwaves, rain, snow, extreme weather etc. It really is close to a weather enthusiast's paradise and I think a lot of the American forum members here need to be conscious of that fact before they moan about their weather again lol. Y'all are spoilt rotten:)

I'd jizz all over myself if that were my forecast this time of year - it's certainly better and more comfortable than the arctic blast we're having up here.

It's extremely boring weather when you live in a place that's already warm/hot the grand majority of the time, and that nastiness sneaks into winter.
Just imagine you having a forecast in summer with consistent highs in the 50s or low 60s and lows in the 30s and low 40s. That's the opposite equivalent.

Kind of like when we still can't seem to stop getting subfreezing low temperatures as late as mid-May some years (2020 I'm looking at you ), or the days in June we get with highs in the 50s. That's not even close to the winter average around here, but it's wintry enough to make it pitifully annoying when it comes at the wrong time of year. Your climate's daily and annual temperature variations tend to be a lot smaller than mine, so I can definitely understand what you mean about it getting boring.

Don't take it personal, I'm mainly lashing out because I'm extremely unhappy with my weather. I know I'm an anomaly compared to the rest of the Eastern US lol. And yeah, I can see how we'd be more interesting than the UK. I will say though that our thunderstorms are more quantity than quality, although to someone coming from London they might appear to be powerful. I actually prefer our summers to London's summers honestly.

Lately there have been a few days where it has been warmer in Hobart than Melbourne. Not only does this not make sense, but it's incredibly infuriating.

And I'm sure Hobart's climate is just as bad as I'm imagining it to be. The top place I'm jealous of right now: South Florida, for having every day in their forecast in the 70s and 80s while we have to put up with all this cold crap. At least by Sunday our highs are supposed to start getting into the 30s Fahrenheit again, which will be nice, but it's still much colder than I'd like.

Here, especially this winter. Just so mind-numbingly boring. This is supposed to be the non-boring part of the year!
Summer is usually boring here and that's to be expected but man, this winter has really taken the crown. Hope this is my last winter in such an infuriating climate.

Hope this is my last winter in such an infuriating climate. Any particular ideas on where you might go next? I remember my first winter after moving away I was quite happy not to be dealing with a Vancouver winter anymore.
