Warmest winters on the Canadian west coast vs warmest winters on the Canadian east coast. Even though Tofino has better summers, sable Island would edge this one for me just for the snowier winters and less rain, but both climates are pretty atrocious, IMO. Tofino:Sable Island:

I'll have to go with Sable Island, even if Tofino has warmer summer record highs, and if it's gonna be cold in winter, it may as well be snowy. Tofino's winters look suicidally wet.

Sable Island is the nicer climate.

Sable Island is a lot better, even though it's still shit.

Sable Island is a bit less godawful but it still gets an F.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually prefer Tofino.

What an amazing amount of rain for Tofino! I'm so picking here.
It's interesting how similar their summer highs are.

Sable Island because it has better crummers.

Sable Island. Winters are much more epic there, raw with frequent snow and very high winds.

Tofino, eh. Both are utter shit, but at least Tofino has had sorta-hot days on record, and it has a warmer annual mean, and more sunshine hours even despite the intense rainfall.

Tofino for sure. Sable Island has too much winter snow and seasonal lag.

Sable Island
Extremely easily. Due to having a far superior snow:temps:precip ratio.

Sable Island. Tofino's winters are the stuff of nightmares - extremely high rainfall combined with temps barely above freezing. Just horrific - one of the worst climates I've seen.

10-6 for sable island so far. A lot closer than I thought it would be to be honest.
Even though both are pretty horrendous climates I assumed everyone would find Tofino's copious precip too much for their liking. Though in hindsight, the summers are definitely a lot better than sable island like the previous poster mentioned.

Every time I get a good rainfall and it stops or even slows down I'm disappointed.

Sable Island. Having 7 months of over 250mm average precipitation sounds excessive.
