Brisbane because it gets far more storms than Perf and summer lows are better.

This might surprise some people but Brisbane is the easy winner. The worse temps donβt offset the far superior precipitation pattern.

Brisbane and surrounding districts for the epic spring and summer thunderstorms. The year I worked in Brisbane ( '97 -'98 ) I found the winters somewhat chilly, especially the mornings, and the August westerlies were unpleasant too ). Summer rain hail thunder etc was pretty good ! Perth is OK too.....just that every time I fly in and out of Perth in winter, its pissin' down rain and cold....haha.

Both are great climates, but I pick Brisbane for the drier winters.

I like Brisbane for the warmer summer lows and warmer winters.

Perth
Extremely easily. Has somewhat of a winter with rainfall in the correct season, and more actual weather (such as violent cold fronts). Summers are also far superior.

Brisbane.. warmer and more storms however Perth is also good.
However the big downside is the ridiculous early sunsets in Brisbane..

Yep, daylight at 4,30am around Xmas Just .. thatβs earlier than here on 21 June.. Is it due to farmers? Surely people must be pissed off with the ridiculous sunrise and early sunset times?

I prefer Perthβs cooler winters and lower humidity, but prefer Brisbaneβs rainfall pattern and greater frequency of thunderstorms.
Think Iβll go with Brisbane, but itβs close.
