I m ade a climate that would be closest to ideal and fit into the Continental category as per Koppen.
Winter is sunny and chilly, with average highs in the low 40s and consistent sunshine. Even in the coldest month of January, the only month that the mean temperature is below freezing, heat waves can still occur where temperatures can soar into the 60s and rarely even 70s for a few days. Cold snaps can occur too, but not extreme ones - temperatures below 0 Fahrenheit have never been recorded. Because of the dryness, accumulating snow is practically unheard of.
Spring is rapidly warming and slowly getting wetter, and temperatures can be quite volatile. Summer is hot, humid, and can feel tropical - daytime temperatures above 30C are commonplace with dew points above 70. It rains frequently in the summer too, with thunderstorms happening most days. However, sunshine happens for at least a few hours almost every day.
Fall is rapidly cooling and drying, and weather, like in spring, can be quite volatile.

A D-, temperatures are decent/good, but way too little snowfall in winter, record lows are lame when you consider the average lows, and summer lows are too warm for me. Not totally terrible though.

C-. Summer is gross and humid and too wet and winter is pointless and boring. At least winter has decent temps and spring and fall are pretty good.

D, for being way too hot in the summer and way too sunny year round. And while I prefer drier winters and a summer precipitation peak, the ratio of wettest to driest month is a bit much even for me.
