Northwest: First up we have Atlin in the northwest corner of BC. At 59N it's basically part of the Yukon, especially since the only road to it is through the Yukon. It is well-protected by the huge mountain ranges to the west although there are some minor peaks to the east. Climates to the west are those such as Yakutat with huge amounts of precipitation. Southwest: Coquitlam will represent the southwest corner of BC and I think it does so fairly well. There are some drier microclimates in places, but overall I think it represents the area well in all respects. Central-east: Crescent Spur is 140 km east of Prince George, with Jasper, AB another 200 km to the east. Crescent Spur has the highest amount of rain days in July in Canada at 21.8. Nearby McBride is close with 21.1 days in July. No thanks! Northeast: Fort Nelson is pretty typical of the area around the BC/AB/NWT border with relatively flat topography and spruce/birch forest predominating the land. Winters are the coldest on average in the province for a city. Central-west: Hartley Bay is located south of Prince Rupert but pretty far north of northern Vancouver Island, amongst the various islands and archipelagos of the area. No roads to it either. Horrible climate. Southeast: Sparwood is in the Elkford valley near the BC/AB border at 1100m asl, surrounded by beautiful mountain peaks and lush boreal vegetation. This is probably my favorite climate here (followed by Atlin).

Thereβs far better climates in BC like Kamloops.
For the poll, Sparwood is the winner.
1. Sparwood 2. Atlin 3. Crescent Spur 4. Fort Nelson 5. Coquitlam 6. Hartley Bay

Great battle!
I choose Fort Nelson for being the most continental, still having a decent amount of snow, and just the best all-around.

None of the above... I think Victoria has the best climate in the province.
Of the choices in the poll, Coquitlam.

Coquitlam (South West), easily. By far the best snowfall:temps ratio of that mob.
My heirarchy:
I. Coquitlam (South West)
II. Sparwood (South East)
III. Crescent Spur (Central East)
IV. Hartley Bay (Central West)
V. Atlin (North West)
VI. Fort Nelson (North East)

Nice idea!
Sparwood, most of these climates are pretty good but Sparwood is the best. Nice winters and snow, nice warm but not hot summers, not tons of storms - just great mountain climate.
