Is this a Stevenson screen?

YES! you freaking Swedish Ladyboy. I made my posts about the standards of Stevenson screens, weather stations both PWSs and offical AWSs, and the WMO very clear in the shoutbox, and you just decided to argue the toss, call me drunk in an insultive manner even though I made my posts on the matter very clear and have actually agreed with you. The only thing clearer is a 100000000 carat diamond. You post a pic of a weather station, I agree with you, and what do you do, call me drunk and argue the fucken toss.
IT IS A PROPER STEVENSON SCREEN. END OF.
FUCK SWEDEN. GOD.

It's usually not called Stevenson screen but it has the same functionality. Just the modern version since you don't need manual recording anymore.

FUCK SWEDEN. GOD. That's one very twisted way of putting it. I posted a picture from a study where modern radiation shields were compared with a traditional stevenson screen. Then you started calling me out on my "bullshit" saying "stevenson screens are the wmo standard, end of discussion", and calling me stupid, high etc. Even though it was very clear from the context, that everyone involved in the discussion (me, JosΓ©, Ariete and Fg) meant the traditional stevenson screen box made of wood when we said "stevenson screen", it took you well over 10 minutes of you insulting me and being intentionally obtuse before clarifying that you were using a different definition than everyone else.

It is a thermoplastic radiation shield or sensor radiation shield, which does the same thing as a Stevenson screen, but is the modern equivalent for electronic sensors for automated weather stations.

I regret ever mentioning Stevenson screens now.

I regret ever mentioning Stevenson screens now. You weren't involved in this, if it helps

I'm a bit more of a traditionalist myself..... Yikes this thing must overheat quite a bit. It would nowadays if it was in use.... From an abandoned construction site in the Western Australian Pilbara at Harding Dam, about 30klm inland from Roebourne. Was last used in the 1980's.

Most certainly NOT!
The WMO (i.e., the organisation of incompetent clowns) often tries to pass it off as a "Stevenson Screen", for to botev modern tempsβbut alas, it's very easy to tell the difference between this sub-standard rubbish, and a real Stevenson. You WMO boot-licker sheeple need to realise that your beloved organisation cannot be trusted.

These types tend to outperform traditional Stevenson screens by a fair bit. If that's from an article, can you post the link? It looks like one day's data which does not prove much.

You WMO boot-licker sheeple need to realise that your beloved organisation cannot be trusted. If you can remember we had this discussion in the past, because you posted a photo of a BOM weather station that used a smaller radiation screen, as you assumed all BOM sites used a traditional Stevenson screen. I can't find the link I originally posted at the time, but if you look on page 10 on this link, you will see it shows how many sites use each different type of screen. This was from 2011 too so more may now use the modern type radiation screens such as Vaisala or RM Young. BOM ACORN-SAT Observation practices
