What do you think of the climate in Yakima, WA ? I give it a B. Pretty nice climate for me. Just wish there was more snow and highs were somewhat cooler.

B-. Winter is too cold, rainy and doesnβt get enough snow. The rest of the year has excellent temps but is too dry and stormless.

B-. Excellent temperature profile, but too dry and also too inversiony in winter.
The eastern WA basin is actually cloudier than Seattle / western WA in the winter. The inversion fog builds in and can last for days at a time.

1.86/4.00 = D. Winters are warmer than here, which is a plus, but they're still quite cold, and summer is two months long with polar lows. It's also very dry especially in the summer, so really all things considered, not a fan. At least the record high of 110'F is pretty good compared to most climates.

The summer looks very nice, why is everyone complaining about it ? It's sunny and warm with low humidity. 85 F with low humidity is great shorts weather and perfect for hiking.

C Decent temperature pattern excepting the cold summer lows. But it's way too dry.

Iβve been noticing WIKI has been updating sunshine data for cities in WA state. Iβm actually surprised that Yakima is darker than Spokane?
Spokane: 2,575.3 Walla Walla: 2,449.2 Yakima: 2,351 Portland: 2,340.9 Victoria: 2,193.3 Seattle: 2,169.7 Tacoma: 2,167 Vancouver BC: 1,937.5 Bellingham: 1,866 Forks: 1,530.3

I gave Sunriver, OR a C so I don't see why Yakima would deserve something other than a C. Passed through Yakima once in the early spring during my college years.

The definition of a "meh" climate. I give it a C, could use much more precip, snow, and colder winters.

I give it a C. Nights are uncomfortably cold in summer.
