Based on my other thread looking at the least worst of London's crap summer years, only this time you have the 3 best summer years in recent times. I excluded 2006/2013 as they were just one month wonders.

2018 - the best summer and the February/March cold spell for seasonal contrast.

1995 - has the coldest winter months while still retaining a warm summer, although that summer is way too dry.

With the corrected sunshine figures this year looks much better and more like how I remember it. I vaguely remember 2003 but more the start of August with the week of consistent 35C temperatures

Probably 2003. The intense heatwaves were just concentrated during the first two weeks of August. Rest of the season had a rather stably cooler pattern.
