Darwin. Us locals don winter gear once the dry season nights dip to 18c.....so frankly Shrewsbury just doesn't cut it as a desirable destination.....

Neither are ideal. However, the sauna that is Darwin would drive me crazy. I don't live far from Shrewsbury, so get more or less the same weather, and it hasn't driven me completely insane. I am a bit mad, but I haven't been sectioned, yet.

Which of these Charles Darwin related climates do you prefer - the namesake, the City of Darwin; or Shrewsbury, the birthplace of Charles Darwin? Darwin Airport Shrewsbury (climate data from nearby Shawbury) Actually, that Darwin data chart needs upgrading to take into account the record max temp of 35.0c on 15th June 2020, 35.0c on the 11th July 2020 and 38.0c on 21st of Sept 2021. First time 35c recorded at the Airport in the dry season months of June and July ( records to 1941 ).

Darwin, mate!
It has a summer. It is both wetter and sunnier. Shitsbury is terrible. Darwin is not bad.
