Yankees win their third in a row, and are one game away from going to the World Series! They will have to clinch in Houston tho. They will have to beat Verlander which is not an easy task. The historically good Astros lineup was limited to just 9 runs in 5 games this series so far. Excellent job from the Yankee pitchers and a great job in clutch hitting

We got much farther than anyone expected us to this year. No one predicted us to make the Playoffs, or even to beat the Indians. Great season overall, even tho we missed the world series by an annoying one game

Anyway hell of a season for the Yankees and hopefully the Yankees can do better next year.

Even tho its against the Yankees, I love watching these videos. Always impressed me when someone can hit a homerun to the black seats, shame that Aaron Judge won't get that opportunity. Some of his blasts would easily reach the black seats. His 496-foot blast would've been a homerun at any Yankee Stadium, not even the 1920s version would contain that one lol

Holy shit, Giancarlo's No Trade Clause has really become a huge pain in the ass for many teams. Especially the Marlins. Apparently he blocked a trade from the Cardinals that would've been monumental for Miami, instead now the Marlins are limited to 3 or 4 teams, and this gives the remaining teams a ton of leverage

Giancarlo is apparently going to the Yankees, which is probably making you cream your pants lol. The Marlins are going to be quite a boring team to watch next year they're also thinking of trading away Ozuna and Yelich, they already traded away Dee Gordon. Cheap bastards. I blame our shit fans though.

I blame our shit fans though. Indeed lol, I was always wishing for the Yankees to have a Giancarlo-type player who can hit 450 foot homeruns whenever he wants. We finally got someone like that last year. And now we will have two of them! You have all the right to be pissed off tho, as with the entire city of Miami. Loria fucking swindled everyone. Loria seems like some sort of con artist in a developing country, can't believe he can get away with what he did in the United States

Baseball and the Masters are the only reasons I look forward to spring. Weird watching the Yankees without Joe Girardi at the helm now.

One thing that makes winter kinda dull is no baseball. Although, the Marlins are going to be hot garbage this year. I predict them to go 66-96. Going to be a really boring team to watch, I'm gonna pay a lot of attention to the teams where our stars went to. Yankees, Cards, and Brewers.

Jake Arrieta signing with the Phillies. Along with the acquisition of Carlos Santana, it seems both their lineup and pitching staff got a nice boost. They'll be a greatly improved team this year.
Although hard to say how good Arrieta will do in a hitter's park like Philly.

Nationals need to desperately win something, while the rest of the NL East is reloading

Nationals need to desperately win something, while the rest of the NL East is reloadingLOL. Everyone except for the Marlins, of course.... Marlins will easily be in last place this year, the Braves have gotten a lot better plus they have prospects, same with the Phils. The Mets are kinda "meh" but still easily better than the Marlins. This is gonna be a shitty season....

But it's better to be horrible and lose 100 games, and then get a nice draft pick out of it. As opposed to being stuck in the 80-win purgatory

I have tickets to go see a Phillies game with family this summer. June 30 versus the Nationals. Fireworks night. Pretty good seats, too. Last time I was at a Phillies game 2005, I believe.

As opposed to being stuck in the 80-win purgatory I don't know, the Braves do have some good prospects, namely Ronald Acuna, along with a beast Freddie Freeman, Matt Adams, etc. They probably need more pitching though. I can see them being a .500 team or even a bit above. Yeah, you're right regarding the second point. As devastating as trading away Ozuna, Yelich, Dee Gordon, and Stanton is, we had no minor league prospects whatsoever before this trade, and now we have a few good ones. The future might be good ----- say 5 years from now or so.

Stanton's no-trade clause screwed the Marlins. They could've gotten a huge return for him from St. Louis, instead we managed to get him for very little. Yet it's a good thing going forward, the Astros tanked for a few years, and look at them now
Tigers are completely screwed right now. They're trying to rebuild, but they have tons of horrible expensive contracts with old players
