Despite leading by 5 runs early on and having the bases loaded in the 12th inning with no outs, the Yankees still managed to lose. Marlins won today, up to 3-6 now. Whoopee lol. They fucking lost 20-1 yesterday. Holy fuck, Stanton went 0-for-7 with five strikeouts today he's been struggling since opening day. Maybe the cold is getting to him? He'll very likely go on a hot streak when the weather warms up more. Holy crap! Talk about humiliation lol. Yeah Stanton has had a rough start. I feel bad for him. I imagine part of his performance issues are psychological too. I'm sure he'll snap out of it eventually. The weather could certainly be playing a role. Neither team seemed to be very hot during this series, no pun intended. That's not to take away from strong performances from the likes of Gregorius.

Blaming the weather sounds like an excuse, but some people clearly handle cold weather better than others, and Stanton doesn't seem like one of those people. I think he'll turn around. He's a very streaky hitter, and once he gets on a hot streak he's the sort of player who can smash a homerun in every at-bat
Can't blame him, if I was an MLB player I think I'd suck ass in the cold too lol

The people booing Stanton are fucking idiots, it's been 10 games and altho he's looked ugly it's cold af and the entire lineup except Didi isn't doing that well
I feel like the Yankees have struggled this week in particular because they're a flyball-heavy team, and guess what the cold air does to fly balls? Once it warms up, those fly outs to the warning track will start finding the seats

Aaron Judge has been class so far. Scary thing is, I don't think he has even been that hot this year yet

I guess I chose a good time to go to bed at the end of the 5th inning last night. Nearly drove off the road when I heard the final score this morning.

Yeah it was shocking and embarrassing. Our bullpen is atrocious this year

Yankees survive late scare and hold on to a 10-7 win. Really long and eventful game with tons of "oh shit" moments from both sides. A lot of positives from this one; Gary Sanchez hit two homeruns, breaking out of his slump!!! Giancarlo had three hits, and another well-struck fly ball that died on the warning track cause of the cold and the wind. Judge continued to destroy the Red Sox pitching this series. Bullpen still looked shaky but much better than it has looked in like a week
Bullpen is the biggest worry rn, looks ugly

I was wondering, part of Judge's famous slump last year was because apparently his shoulder was hurting (he had surgery on it after the postseason). Could he be like a natural 1.100-1.200 OPS type hitter when healthy? He has a 1.067 OPS right now and it doesn't even feel like he's hitting his best. Jesus Christ, if this is his normal level, that's really scary for the other teams

Jesus Christ Didi. At this rate he's turning into a 30 Homerun, .300 average hitter

^ Are you a baseball fan? The Marlins got whooped 8-0 by the Brewers yesterday, bringing their record down to 5-14. To give you an idea of how trash the Marlins are, they've allowed twice the amount of runs than they've scored (62 runs scored, 124 runs allowed). At least we're not the fucking Reds though, 3-16 record. Red Sox have been nuts this year, off to a 17-2 start. I hope they can keep up the good work, though of course they won't keep up this pace all year (that'd be like a 145-17 record at the end of the year lol).

The Mets are also off to a hot start (14-5).

If you have the opposite record of the Marlins, you're doing pretty fucking well. Just a general rule, lol

Yankees win a tight series against the Astros, 3-1. All of the games (except the third one) were super close! A couple of unlucky bounces and it could've easily been a 1-3 series instead. And before that the Yankees swept a series against the Angels. Both Minute Maid Park and Angel Stadium have been brutal to the Yankees in recent years, so getting out of there with a 6-1 record is unbelievable!

Leave it to the Marlins to blow a fucking 9-2 lead, lmao. I'm not even mad, this is just funny. How pathetic can a team be? Don Mattingly is also a fucking idiot, I don't get why the guy has such a hard on for Ziegler who's fucking trash and old as shit.
