Not that sure about it. Ljubljana and Plovdiv likely get more cold snowy fronts.
I'm talking relative to average temps—Ljublijana and Plovdiv likely get way too many warm fronts, and more extreme cold to boot (i.e., the disgusting pattern of cold = dry and warm = wet). I just can't stand rain falling with above average temps…yuck.

^ looks like theres a lot of cold rainy days every winter in Istanbul compared to Ljubljana whose precip would more likely consist of snow seeing as its much colder...

^ looks like theres a lot of cold rainy days every winter in Istanbul compared to Ljubljana whose precip would more likely consist of snow seeing as its much colder... Exactly— cold rainy days. Rainy days in Ljubljana, however, occur with above average temps. And again, I'm not talking on an absolute scale; I know Ljubljana gets way more snow. The problem is that it also gets frequent extreme cold…and of course the dreadful precip pattern and washed-out cloudy crummers.

Immediately voted London, didn't have to look up individual climate boxes.

I'll go with Split, but Istanbul and Podgorica are just as good

Split is the best, warmest winters. Sunniest

Toss up between Ljubljana and Plovdiv but the latter edges this one out for me.
Greater temp extremes (even though winters are slightly warmer than Ljubljana), more sunshine, warmer summers and less summer precip.

Podgorica, Montenegro, has the best temps, especially summer.

Split. Thessaloniki was going to be my default answer, but it's much cooler and cloudier than I had expected.

I would have to say Split without seeing the Stats - this is one of the very finest climate regions in the World imo I think Split got some serious cold damage in recent winters. Citrus trees and such damaged.

Split for me as well. Love the waters there in the Adriatic Sea and the crystal clear waters.

Split for the mildest winters. Podgorica has better summers but I don't like the winter record lows.

Btw for Thessaloniki the most representative station is the Aristotle University Campus in downtown Thessaloniki. The Airport's climate is almost irrelevant

Podgorica and Ljubljana. Voted Podgorica for the warmer temps though Ljubljana has beautiful rainy summers.
