So here is a road trip from borderline subarctic Sept Iles, to borderline subtropical New Haven. Please rate the climate you the most: goo.gl/maps/q95w8D45NmysSkLS7Sept Iles, QC Baie-Comeau, QC Quebec City, QC Sherbrooke, QC ----- ***Welcome to USA***------- St Johnsbury, VT Brattleboro, VT Springfield, MA New Haven, CT Please see attached link for list of climates: imgur.com/a/M7jdTvy

New Haven - which actually IS Cfa according to Koppen - is the closest to acceptable. Sept-Iles is Dfc and miserable. All of these places have cold winters, and they all fail to meet my standard of a three-month warm summer, so it comes down to the lesser of the evils.

Why is the data for Springfield from a place 20 miles away in a different state?
Brattleboro is the best of the other options.

Brattleboro is the most balanced one, so I choose that one. The Quebec climates are good but too crummery.

Despite warmer summers, I choose New Haven for milder temperatures in the rest of the seasons.

Why is the data for Springfield from a place 20 miles away in a different state? Brattleboro is the best of the other options. Chicoppe / Westover Falls Airport is slightly closer than Hartford-Bradley Airport (7 vs 12 miles) to downtown Springfield. It's 12 miles by air not 20.

New Haven by far, it's excellent and an A-, just could be warmer in spring (mainly April) and less humid in summer and cooler at night perhaps. Doesn't deserve to be lumped with the likes of Sept-รles when its annual mean and Jan mean is closer to that of Jacksonville, Florida.
