Iβm going with Dakar, itβs the most comfortable by far and still gets a decent storm season.

Freetown because it has months with the biggest rainfall, although not the highest annually.
Where's my plantains and peanuts.

Finally some African climates! Gonna go with Dakar with being the most comfortable Dakar has fairly high tropical humidity year round. It probably also has worse air quality due to the lack of wet season rain.

Accra Ghana for the more evenly distributed rain. Must be lots of water shortages in those places with half a year of no rain?

Accra Ghana for the more evenly distributed rain. Must be lots of water shortages in those places with half a year of no rain? And some of these cities have populations in the millions, so the water storages must be able to cope with the demands. In Darwin with the similar wet/dry regime, we had two poor wet seasons in a row recently, a third would have likely meant water restrictions throughout the City and Suburbs.

Dakar is the sweetest spot in the low altitude in West Africa south of the Sahara.

Lagos - relatively evenly distributed rainfall and some months averaging above 90 degrees (unlike Abidjan)

Bisseau for me. It's a better version of Bangkok. Nice mix of rain and sun, comfortably warm (but not too oppressive) and lots of storms.
