Most notable crummer for me was 2012. Cheesehead probably loved this one but I hated it. It was one of the hottest summers and I worked outside for a roofing company doing general labor.

It only rained once in June, a few hours of storms at night on a weekend. The second half of the month started getting hot. July was even worse with a few 100F highs and only 0.09" of rain the first 18 days. It was the largest drought I can remember and many places canceled their fireworks for independence day. Those were some miserable days. I would really struggle in a place that gets hot like that for months on end (Texas, Arizona, etc).
The second half of July was warm but wet, finally some rain. August had normal temps but was on the dry side. I was really happy to go back to school in the fall.
