I recognised these three right away:
• Climate 2 = Balmaceda, Chile
• Climate 10 = Waratah, TAS
• Climate 11 = Wilsons Promontory, VIC
As for the poll, I'm picking Waratah—just love those winters. Dunno the other climates anyways.

Climate 1: Somewhere in Russia. It's bugging me, the temp profile is like Magadan but the precip is closer to somewhere on the black sea coast. Climate 2: Cochrane or Balmaceda in Chile. Climate 3: Cusco, Peru Climate 4: Eureka, CA Climate 5: Lhasa, Tibet Climate 6: Cameron Highlands, Malaysia Climate 7: Somewhere in Zimbabwe? Climate 8: Close to Seattle, so Olympia or Tacoma. Climate 9: Bodo or Rost, Norway Climate 10: Waratah, TAS Climate 11: Wilsons Promontory, VIC Climate 12: Somewhere in Mongolia

1. Island in Hudson bay, Newfoundland, or most likely that peninsula in easternmost Russia, near Severo-Kurilsk, Dfc
2. Csb, Southern Chile, pooossibly Argentina, I'd go with Punta Arenas
3. Easy guess would be either Africa or South America, but it could be Hawaii. I'll go for Bógota, Colombia, Cwa (subtropical/tropical highland)
4. Eureka or someplace similar on the North Californian coast. Csb
5. Some highland New Mexico or Arizonian place, like Flagstaff. Cwb (subtropical highland)
6. I'd guess Papua New Guinea, or Papua in Indonesia. I remember seeing a similar climate someplace there once. Don't remember the name, Wagumin maybe? Cfb (subtropical/tropical highland)
7. Kenya. It's not Eldoret but it looks like somewhere close. Kisumu or Nakuru maybe. Cwb (subtropical/trooical highland)
8. Southern Washington somewhere between Seattle and Portland. Olympa or Longview maybe. Csb
9. Initially thinking Iceland but winters are too warm. I'd guess Røst in Arctic Norway.
10. Chile, maybe Puerto Montt. Cfb
11. Some peninsula or promontory in Victoria, Aus. Don't think it's Tasmania or New Zealand because of the record highs. Cfb
12. Hmmm, tough one. Initially thought somewhere near Winnipeg, but highs in winter are too mild. Maybe somewhere in Wyoming or Colorado. Actually, looking at sun hours in winter, it must be even further south. Arizona or New Mexico, Dwb (subtropical highland).
I didn't look at any climate boxes for any of these except the first one where I looked at a couple climate boxes in the eastern half of Canada as well as one in eastern Russia.
Climate 7, the Kenyan(?) one is my fave.

1. Somewhere on the eastern Russian peninsula
2. I'm tempted to say Bariloche but I'm not too sure ... I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in southwestern South America though.
3. Looks like somewhere in Bolivia. Too warm to be La Paz. I'll say Sucre which is the only other Bolivian city I can think of off the top of my head.
4. 99% sure it's Eureka, California
5. 75% sure it's Lhasa, Tibet
6. Somewhere at high altitude in Indonesia? I can't really think of a specific place.
7. I remember seeing a similar climate in Kenya with a triple rainfall peak. I'll say southern Kenya.
8. 33% sure it's Tacoma, Washington
9. Lerwick?
10. Waratah, Tasmania
11. Wilson's Prom, Victoria
12. Somewhere in northern China?

#1- possibly coastal northern Norway? the rainfall amount probably rules out anywhere in Sweden or Finland. Dfc but with a Dsc-like rainfall pattern #2- definitely temperate South America, more specifically Chilean Patagonia. high sunshine levels suggests this is in a leeward and/or alpine/montane location. Csc #3- tropical Andes, could be Cuzco or some other non-La Paz city above 3000 m. (I think La Paz is a bit cooler than this) Cwb #4- definitely somewhere on the Pacific Coast of the US. Avg temp range and dew point stats are a dead giveaway. Maybe Eureka, CA? Csb #5- reminds me of Lhasa. Cwb #6- a tropical highland climate that has year-round rain with moderate seasonality. Possibly somewhere in Papua New Guinea? (wet season is Oct-Apr, this implies southern hemisphere). Cfb/Af #7- somewhere in Eastern Africa along the Great Rift Valley region, 1000 to 2500 m above sea level. Possibly Nairobi? Cwb #8- has to be somewhere in the Cascadia region, I'm 100% sure. Too rainy to be in the Portland or Seattle areas, maybe somewhere in BC inland of Vancouver? Csb #9- looks subarctic, maybe Reykjavik? Cfc #10- temperate Southern Hemisphere, guessing it's in a mountainous area? Not sure if New Zealand or Chilean Patagonia... Cfb #11- temperate Southern Hemisphere, mild winters and fairly rainy with high record highs. Tasmania? Cfb with summer dryness #12- has to be somewhere in Inner Asia and at some elevation above sea level. Winter/summer temps not extreme enough for most of Central Asia, Siberia, or Mongolia. Xining? Dwb
