March 2008 is from Eyre, WA. Can easily recognise it by the 6.8/44.2 lol.
Wouldn't be surprised if October 2008 was from there as well.
As to what I prefer, I pick March by a hair. March is a B+, October is a C+.

44.2/6.8 - that diurnal range sounds even crazier in Fahrenheit, 111.6/44.2 That's about my dream climate's annual range, in one day! October is definitely blighted by that subfreezing low at the beginning, but enhanced by that 44.7'C high in there too. I'm not an expert on Australian climates...I'll guess Eucla? Either way I prefer the March - it's closer to summer so the warmth is more reliable.

I was going to guess Albany, WA but Eyre isn't too far off. I prefer March 2008. No temps in the high teens for highs like October.

Both are epic months. March is better for the month it is though.

My dream climate averages about 75 mm in its driest months, and 115 mm in its wettest - I need my storms and my green grass!

Haha....not a great deal of green grass ( nor trees ) out along the Nullabor Plain. Actually Eyre has had a few good seasons rainfall wise since 2010. The mean is 315.9mm and the median 298.8mm 2010 - 262.4 2011 - 603.8 2012 - 257.7 2013 - 373.4 2014 - 597.0 2015 - 335.1 2016 - 387.7 2017 - 323.5 2018 - 414.3 2019 - 175.6 2020 - 417.1 Rain fall stats show a winter/spring bias, although extreme events are more likely in the summer months.
