Several years after their epic London to New York journey, Ewan McGregor and Charly Borman reunited on a new adventure, also on motorbikes, this time from the northern most tip of the UK, John O'Grotes in Scotland, to the southern most tip of the African continent at Cape Agulhas, South Africa. Here's a couple of cities and towns on the trip.....what a diverse range climatically ! Another highly recommended seies to watch ! The route taken.... John O'Grotes, Scotland ( most northem tip of the UK ). Climate data from nearby town of Wick Land's End, Cornwall, the southern end of the UK. Climate data from nearby naval base at Culdrose Syracuse, Sicily Tripoli, Libya Cairo, Egypt Addis Abada, Ethiopia Nairobi, Kenya Kigali, Rwanda Ligongwe, Malawi Lusaka, Zambia Windhoek, Namibia Cape Agulhas, South Africa, The southerly tip of the African Continent.

Syracuse. Not very happy with that decision, it being a Med climate. But Windhoek is too dry overall and too mild in winter, and the other wet summer climate don't have enough seasonal variation.

John o' Groats, for being the most tame and sensible.

Tripoli. Best temp vs rain combo, not sure how it fares for storms though.

Kigali wins this one handily. The only A climate on the list.

Don't particularly like any of these so I will go with Tripoli. Mate you're a . So, I must pick the coldest climate every time because I'm a "cold lover"?? Those UK climates are total shit. I'll take Tripoli, thank you very much. The other African ones are wetter which is nice, but very boring.

LOL I assumed this was a wilko reference
toss-up between Nairobi and Syracuse; Syracuse looks too muggy in summer so I'll choose Nairobi

They all suck so Iβll say fuck it and pick Lusaka for being pleasant and at least getting some heat and storms.

None. But I think it would probably be some place en route in eastern France or northern Italy, since there will be snow in winter and summer isn't too hot.

None of these, has to be somewhere crossing the Alps that I would like though Or the Pyrenees. I would go through Gibraltar and into Morocco since the hop across sea is much shorter. Have you seen Jeremy Clarkson's "Seamen" episode .
