This climate battle pits the nearest stations to the two extreme points in the continental 48 states of the United States (also known as the "Lower 48"): the westernmost and easternmost points. First up, is Quillayute, WAβI'm using it because there aren't any other active stations with a long PoR closer to the true westernmost point, Cape Flattery, except for Tatoosh Island which is half a mile offshore. Eastport.
While I like Quillayute's precip pattern, Eastport has more seasonality + gets some cold and decent snowfall over winter and summers are warmer than Quillayute.
