I have selected 2 Climate. One which is often Chilly and sunny, another which is often Hot and overcast. One in the Western Hemisphere, and another in the east. Which one do you like more. Saskatoon:  Medan:  Obviously, I wish it was chilly and sunny year round, but Saskatoon is an ideal climate |

The chilly and sunny one easily. Medan is too hot for me all year. Saskatoon is colder than I like but has more good weather days than Medan. Too dry also.

Saskatoon and it's not even close. Cold and sunny weather is awesome, hot and cloudy weather can get fucked.

Okay, I'm going with Medan, but I would've went with Saskatoon if Medan had 500 fewer sunshine hours.

Medan - of course. The lack of sun would probably make the muggy temps more tolerable.

Medan by a country mile.....just about perfect, enough rainfall to stay green all year around, few if any extreme temps, and nights which may drop below 20c any month of the year....can see myself on the bungalow verandah sipping gin and swatting mosquitos listening to the sounds of drums in the jungle and remarking, "the natives are restless tonight...."
Wish Darwin was as good as this place !

Medan, but still not my ideal. Saskatoon is hideously cold for an absurd length of time with the payoff being an absurdly short cool excuse of a crummer. Morningrise's posts are very eye opening.
