What games are you playing?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is my favourite and I like Skyrim SE with heavy graphics overhauls + ENB. I like RPG with more freedom. I play sometimes MMO (Lord of the Rings Online) which still needs good single core CPU because poor engine optimisation. |

I've been playing Civ 6 recently, and attempting to make alliances with every country I meet.
The only people who won't ally with me are the Russians. I even have an alliance with Gandhi.

Looks alright. I mean graphically it looks really good. I'm cautiously optimistic that it won't suck. I got the premium edition for free. Their overly marketing-ish, buzzword spiel worries me though. |

I was uninterested when I saw earlier videos, it looked pretty lame. But more the recent stuff they've shown has been far more promising. It's also a day 1 release on Game Pass, so nothing to lose by trying it out. The only thing that concerns me is that it's being made by Bethesda, otherwise known as Bugthesda. Todd Howard is renowned for overpromising and underdelivering. The marketing BS is just Todd, he's renowned for that lol. |

Running Starfield now and the CPUs are running at 45C and GPU at 50C. Ambient temp is 23C. Noice.

I'll give it a go next week. Yeah I dunno. If you want a good story, this game ain't it. In the first hour you get a ship gifted to you for no real reason. Bad writing there lmao. It also looks like ass due to the old engine. RDR2 looks better. RDR2 is fun as hell too. Anyway, I have this game running on Ultra settings on my near top of the line pc (Ryzen 7900, Radeon 7900 XTX, 32GB DDR5 6000 mhz ram, Samsung NVME 2TB SSD) and it looks ugly. It will run like ass if you don't use an NVME SSD though... The game just feels very lazy and uninspired to me. The AI is dumb. Combat is alright but could be better. There's no aliens at all. Humans look drab and boring. Dialogue is a chore and I couldn't be arsed in reading or listening to it after a certain point. The planets literally all look the same so far. There are many loading screens, which I am fine with but it's a bit outdated now. They marketed it as high in "freedom" to do what you want but it feels very restricting. I'll give it a little more time but I don't expect to change my opinion as I don't see any of my complaints improving. |

Sounds like a typical Bethesda title then They're goofy, but I get enjoyment out of them. One thing that disappoints me from what I've seen is the way exploration works. I was was hoping for the level of freedom seen in something like No Man's Sky, but that isn't the case from what I've seen. |
