Just saw that they have CIV on sale for Nintendo Switch in the eshop. Should I buy it? Or is it better on PC?

Probably switch tbh. Can't get into PC gaming. And even with an i5 core it's still kinda slow when it comes to running games

And even with an i5 core it's still kinda slow when it comes to running games PC is pointless unless you're going to put serious financial backing behind it. It's for people who treat gaming as a major hobby, rather than a pastime.

I just want to pick up a controller and play Started playing Animal Crossing. It's fun once you start unlocking some recipes

I'm not a gamer otaku, or anything, but I do prefer more substantial games

For the last few days I've done pretty much nothing but play Zelda: BotW from the moment I've woken up to the moment I've gone back to sleep. I've connected my laptop to my 4k tv and have been playing it in 4k 60fps with an playstation (and sometimes xbox) controller on a wii u emulator. I haven't really been into video games for the last few years. Feels really good to have found something to do while waiting for school to start, and for quarantine to be over.
I also think this might be my favorite single player game of all time. So fucking good. Amazing game.

Me playing BOTW. Not how these Bobgoblins expected to start their day. It's quite funny. When getting to kokiri village in the early game, I didn't notice the shrine containing the fighting tutorial, and after leaving the village, I didn't come back until like 30 hours later because I couldn't fast travel there and couldn't bother walking all the way from the nearest fast travel just do advance the main story mission which I didn't care much about. Which means I never learned about the dodging mechanic until I'd already played like 40 hours or something like that, and so I've never really learned to use it.

Do you know how to shield deflect guardian lasers?

Do you know how to shield deflect guardian lasers? Yeah kinda, but I'm not very good at it and I have more than enough ancient arrows anyway

I just played Super Mario on the N64 for the last few hours and beat the game in one sitting. I've beaten the game numerous times, of course. But I don't think I've ever done it in one sitting. Lol. Such an easy game to beat.

Super Mario Odyssey is very easy, already beat Bowser and collected almost 250 stars

Which Super Mario? The original? Super Mario 64. Oh ok, I agree that beating the final boss is easy enough, but collecting every star in the game is not so easy. Especially the DS version where they add 30 extra stars.

The DS version is a bitch due to lack of analog sticks.

I have my old childhood N64 machine with me now in my apartment. I've been playing the games I always liked as a kid: Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, and others. I'm thinking about trying out some of the games I never played, like Zelda.
