Philadelphia got warmer and wetter with more snowfall.
Further south in S. Florida, Fort Lauderdale was the only station to get cooler and drier compared to Miami and WPB.
Weird.

Warmest station per state by annual mean temp. Stations must record both temperature and precipitation to be included.

Comment: As expected, December 2015 contributed a lot to boost up the average in the Northeast. Surprised that Boston's almost catching the Koppen's Cfa boundary at a fast pace under the recent 15-year period.

So Key West is the warmest station in the country? Somehow I didn't think it would be that straightforward of a place.

Here are what stations in my area look like. The main airport used to be an Air Force Base up until the early 90's. It was later converted into commercial airport. It seems to have missing data in the 90's I guess while it was shut down. It has the lowest total rainfall of the stations though precip days are the highest for some reason. This was the former primary airport. Now I think it's mostly used by the National Guard and private aircraft. It has larger diurnal ranges than the other stations (I think the soil is sandy and it could be in a frost hollow) It's in an area of pine forest and rolling hills northeast of Alexandria. This station is in a more urbanized area. It seems to have a bit of missing data in recent years and has the least number of precip days. This station is an agricultural research station south of Alexandria.

So Key West is the warmest station in the country? Somehow I didn't think it would be that straightforward of a place. Honolulu is 78.8F and Key West is 78.9F, so technically I guess. Would still have thought Honolulu would have been warmer.

Nice to see all these new stats out already! I emailed Environment Canada about our 1991-2020 normals but they won't have them ready until at least summer 2022.

Washington, DC warmed significantly from 1981-2010 it looks like. Now its average lows are warmer than Raleigh's for the same time period!
