April ended up being nearly bang-on average (just 0.2C below). The first half of the month was much warmer than normal while the second half was on the colder side. It was also another extremely dry month with only 3.5mm of rain for a total of 15mm of precipitation in 2021 so far. Average high: 12.5C (normal: 11.2C) Average low: -3.6C (normal: -1.9C) Mean temperature: 4.5C (normal: 4.7C) Warmest high: 25.7C (Apr 30th) Warmest low: 2.7C (Apr 30th) Warmest mean: 14.2C (Apr 30th) Coldest high: 3.7C (Apr 11th) Coldest low: -14.8C (Apr 23rd) Coldest mean: -4.6C (Apr 23rd) Precipitation total: 3.5mm (normal: 22.7mm) Precipitation days: 2 (normal: 8.3) Wettest day: 2.9mm (Apr 8th) Holy cow what an arid start of the year! I know Saskatoon isn't Quidbo, but hell this year looks especially bad. I'd be craving for heavy rain: if not for the lack of rain in the colder half of the year, for the lack of precipitation at all!

I'd be craving for heavy rain: if not for the lack of rain in the colder half of the year, for the lack of precipitation at all! Yeah, I'm definitely craving some rain right now. Last several years have all been drier than normal but this year really takes it to the extreme. It's bad for the fire risk, it keeps our nights overly cold, and the daytime humidity is way too low. Even just a few 5 to 10 mm rain days would make a huge difference right now.

Auckland's avg low is nearly twice my avg low, and the lowest temp is 2C warmer than my avg low.
I'll show myself to the nearest bridge.

I suppose. Nothing to say really. Epic Easter, otherwise another nonevent of a month with more blue than red, as per our New Age Climate. No rain lol I forgot to mention - of note for Gaypril was that the highest temp was higher than Farch's Also... shout out to Meteoman's Crummary, genuinely hilarious 254.6 hours of sun at the nearest sunshine recorder in Loxton (40km SSW). Low: -1.4C high: +0.1C rain: none lol Table of monolonomoliesowencnomolomoa380lies: And more data

Weird month. Relatively sunny, but often cold, especially in the mornings, with snow and frost often giving way to springlike conditions as the day progressed. The number of frosts approached record levels throughout the country.

Dry, sunny, pleasant. Thought it would be a wet month... Not sure where the data actually comes from though, but it was very sunny.
