DC. Canberra is too dry (especially in summer) with lows too cool year round. Its winter variability is also very lame compared to DC.

Canberra. But the winter cold is, er, difficult for those from tropical climes. ( I was there in Nov 2018 for an Aunts 90th birthday, a pair of 15c days, and mostly around 10c whilst raining. And no, I wasn't dressed for it ! )

DC for being way more interesting and having somewhat passable winters.

How frequently does Canberra get snow? (I prefer Canberra anyway, Washington summers are too hot and humid for my liking)

Canberra easily for having milder and less variable winter. It is also quite a bit sunnier and drier year round.

This was a tough one, but edge goes to Canberra for the milder winter days.

Washington DC. Much better summers which are more important to me than better winters. Most likely more storms aswell.

Finally a climate battle that actually has, like, a point. Sick of that random"Brownsville vs Browntown" spammy shit.
Anyways, I'm going with Crapberraโand very easily. Much more tame and sensibleโฆcan't deal with those polar winter mins in DC, those fucking warm fronts, and that stupid amount of winter variability.

How frequently does Canberra get snow? (I prefer Canberra anyway, Washington summers are too hot and humid for my liking) Settling snowfalls? Try like once every two to three years at best. It's dry as a bone in winter, and those foehn winds are unrelentingโฆto the point that even Young, NSW (380 m @ 34ยฐ S) gets more snow than Crapberra FFS.

Canberra is a bit better due to warmer winters, ensoleillement abundante, and higher chance of summer heatwaves

Canberra, but it's only marginally better. I'll take the slightly milder winters though in exchange for some summer heat. Neither of them are bad climates, they're both pretty standard. Also, Canberra has drier summers.
