Which of these 2 years is better? February 1991 had an incredible cold spell and produced one of London's biggest snowfalls until February 2009 with 15-20cm. 1996 did have some snowfall, but nowhere near as much as 1991.

I think I'll go with 1996 as it was sunnier, drier and didn't have the ridiculous cold spells of 1991. It did have the cloudiest January and the coldest May on record, but the summer was slightly warmer and sunnier than average, especially in June which was also very sunny.

Close one, but I'll go with 1991 since it has warmer lows and is much wetter (especially in summer).

1996 for having warmer, drier summers and less snow.

Hard choice. I like that month of February in 1991, but 1996 is just a little better year round.

Tough one. 1991 has better winters but summer sucks, that June especially is atrocious. Iโll go reluctantly with 96

1996. Better summer, sunnier overall.
