Thread for boxes I'm updating. Here's what I have so far.
Obviously starting with the most important city in Pennsylvania and the world for that matter Station for the NWS Site in Coraopolis, PA
Altoona, PA. City in south central Pennsylvania mountains. In the valley east of the highest mountains of PA.
New Kensington, PA - City in suburban Pittsburgh. Along the Allegheny river, at 730' in elevation. Near a coal fired power plant. POR for records isn't very long, hence the lower highs and warmer lows than would be expected. Averages look decent for the location though.

Steelernation I believe (IIRC) when you lived in Pittsburgh, you were quite close to the Acmetonia Lock station

Allentown, PA - 3rd largest city in Pennsylvania. Anchors East-Central Pennsylvania

Scranton - officially a Dfa climate now, as July has warmed considerably. Largest city in Northeast PA, most of the surrounding uplands and hills are still Dfb Beaver Falls - city in Pittsburgh suburbia along the river (800' ASL). Solid Dfa climate, small POR so records not too accurate

Harrisburg's 2 Airports. One has crossed into the Cfa category, other is holding on to Dfa by one month
