Some of Australia's soggiest cities and towns, by States and Territory. There may be wetter ones out there, this is just a list off the top of my head with no real detailed research. Oh, and not bothered with random AWS on the tops of mountains etc, nor with ski resorts and the like. Babinda, Far North Queensland, holds the title of Australia's wettest town with about 4200mm per annum. Max and min temps from nearby Innisfail. Rainfall Babinda Dorrigo, NSW Dorrigo rainfall Weeaproina, VIC Max and min temps Rainfall Weeaproina Waratah, TAS Rainfall Stirling, SA Rainfall Northcliffe, WA Max and min temps Northcliffe rainfall Climate data from nearby town of Pemberton. Pirlangimpi, NT Max and min temps Pirlangimpi rainfall

Pirlangimpi, pretty similar to Darwin. Presumably sunny with lots of storms.

Stirling, SA. Winters aren't that different to Waratah's, but summers are far superior.

Pirlangimpi for the win... Solid A climate. Honourable mention to Babinda... excellent climate too.

Stirling and Pemberton are both quite good. I'll take Pemberton for warmer, longer summers.
