Its a subtropical place ( at the very least ) with those Travellers Palms growing...
Called by the common name 'Travellers Palm', but they are not related to the Palm genus at all, they are actually a member of the Strelitzia family of plants, native to Madagascar ( Ravenala madagascariensis ).
So, start off with Madagascar ?
