Since lommaren clearly can't wait until tomorrow morning to feel validated for spending 16 hours a day on this site I thought I'd post the stats from previous weeks just for him Week 1 actually includes the mad rush of activity on the opening weekend just beforehand when the original members set up as many threads as we could think of to spark this place into life. I think lommaren was on nearly 200 posts after the first two days alone Not including the 8th which really was just a few minutes, the average number of posts/day in Week 1 was 211.

Things slowed down a bit in Week 2 with only 176 posts/day, but new members kept on trickling in:

You can see a bit more momentum starting to build in Week 3 with an average of 201 posts/day.

Week 4 was even better with an average of 253 posts a day, plus a new record post total for a single day at 343 and a record number of people online at the same time at 18. The post count of the Weather subforum overtook that of the City-Data talk subforum for the first time this week as well, which was an important milestone in this forum growing an identity of our own. That figure of 8 new members on the 7th might look impressive, but actually only one of them was real and the other seven were all attempts to troll me by a certain somebody who will remain nameless trying to join the forum as random people on the invite list and even as people who were already members. Seriously, how fucking stupid do you think I am?

Week 5 turned out even better again, with an average of 275 posts/day and another new record for posts made in a single day on the 15th with 349 On the 9th we had the shoutbox turned off as a trial thinking it might stimulate more activity in the threads, but it didn't happen that way at all, so afterwards we voted 17-1 in favour of keeping the shoutbox on forever

There was a noticeable drop in posting in Week 6 (wtf happened on the 19th?! ) with an average of 239 posts/day. I think this is to be expected though, we've got a lot of the stuff that we couldn't say on City-Data off our chests and we're settling into our normal activity levels, as can be seen by the amount of pageviews being more or less the same as the week before. We have 63 members now but only 45-50 people who come on here in any given week, so that 239 is about five posts a day for each regular, which is still a lot.

There was a pretty average number of 247 posts/day in Week 7, but apart from that this was the busiest week we've had here so far: - Most forum requests in a single week
- Most pageviews on a single day (on 25th)
- Most forum requests on a single day (on 23rd and 25th)
- Most users online at any one time (20)
- Most users online in any 24-hour period (42, recorded three separate times)
We also went through the 10,000-post barrier at some point early on the 27th. On that day C-D Weather had 705,717 posts - I look forward to having a look at their post count every time we add another 10,000 of our own to see how much we're beating them by

Week 8 was much quieter with an average of 161 posts/day. These are low numbers I thought we'd never see again to be honest, though I suspect we did still beat City-Data and we did still have a new record of 43 people logging onto the site within the past 24 hours at one stage.

Things picked back up again in Week 9 with an average of 185 posts a day and a few new members as well. We're not getting the post numbers we used to get a few weeks ago, but we're still getting as many or even more people logging onto the forum on a daily basis, so we're still doing well

Since 12 k here: WWF 2,007 C-D 1,449 (708,387) Y-forum... eh... 6 (358 in total) Not bad considering hundreds of our posts got deleted unnecessarily this week

There were an average of 223 posts a day in Week 10. That high level of activity on the 14th was unfortunately largely caused by somebody deleting over 300 of their own posts, but it was still a much stronger week than we've had recently

We had 215 posts a day on average this past week, though that's not telling the full story at all - the 3rd was the most active day in this forum's history on all counts

Excellent stats this week, there were 263 posts/day on average, which is not a record but pretty damn close! In terms of page views and forum requests though this forum is busier than it's ever been The 9th had more posts than any single day since this forum started with 389 as well, and also saw more people online at any one time than ever before at 21
