Close between Shanghai and Tokyo, Iโll pick whichever one gets more snow and thunderstorms.

Surprised you went with Tokyo over Mexico City given Mexico City is more comfortable and has good precipitation . Not too mention itโs sunnier in Mexico City. I know temp wise Tokyo is closer to your ideal , you gave more weight to that ?

Grudgingly Tokyo. Not my ideal though. But it has the coldest average lows in winter, and summer highs are more manageable.

Sao Paulo
Record highs are kinda lame and I'm not a fan of the precipitation pattern, but it's the most sensible in terms of temps, with mild to warm temps year-round.

Yuck, itโs a battle between monsoonal hellholes. Iโll go with Tokyo for having a more fall-based rainfall peak, as well as the best temperatures of all of these, fairly close to my dream climate in fact.

Tokyo is the best of a sad lot. It's funny that the world's 10 most populous cities all have crap climates.

Tokyo is the best of a sad lot. It's funny that the world's 10 most populous cities all have crap climates. Itโs not even that funny or odd that they all have crap climates. Most humans live in crappy monsoonal climates as most humans live in Asia. The cities are all either in Asia or tropical regions, so the only decent ones (being the temperate ones) have a shitty monsoonal pattern as opposed to a Mediterranean one.

It was between Tokyo and Shanghai. Tokyo it is, because summer there looks slightly more manageable.

Mexico city for having the mildest warm season. Tokyo and Shanghai have better winters, but the summer is just too hot to make up for it.

Sรฃo Paulo is too gloomy; but pleasantly warm and good precipitation, so the best of all of them.

Ciudad de Mรฉxico for not much experiencing >30ยฐC days as the other cities. Quite surprised by such a response coming from you. I thought you despise hot summers with a passion before evaluating anything else.
