Izmir in a massive landslide for being Mediterranean. Columbia is a good climate, but tough to top Izmir's glorious wet winter/dry summer.

Columbia for a better precipitation pattern and surely more thunderstorms, as well as more interesting cold snaps in the winter. I do prefer Izmir's milder shoulder seasons though.
