Rate. I'm going with an A, fantastic climate. Only thing that could be better is colder winters, but overall its good enough to hit A.

A, very good climate For A+ it needs less rain in winter and a mean max higher than 90. The same amount of snow but less total precip.

the airport is at 1200 feet, city at 500 feet so add about 2-3ยฐF daytime highs, maybe 1-2 for the lows

B+ A solid climate, but about 5ยฐF too cool in every month. I'd raise it to an A- if the city is as much warmer as nei says.
Nearby Burlington is a good example of an A/A- climate in my eyes.

C- for me -just too cold for too long.
This is one of the first overseas climates I remember becoming interested in - my first ski instructor was from Montpelier, and I was quite fascinated by the accounts of how cold it was.
