I'm very tempted to choose Kununurra because of the epic wet season activity, but I really would prefer a cooler break from the epic summers. I'll go with Gunnedah, still decent and still gets plenty of storms.

Yep, the North West Slopes and Plains, as well as the Darling Downs do pretty well for Spring and Summer storms. Kununurra and the Kimberley do pretty well themselves. I've experienced some dead set ball tearers over Kununurra way.

The DP's and humidity are not as bad as the coastal regions of the Top End. Not a bad climate out that way and some quite rich farmlands. Seems like cotton is going to be the next big thing crops wise.......

Gonna have to go with Wagga Wagga for seeming like the most interesting one. It was a tough choice between that and Clare Valley though, but Wagga Wagga has slightly cooler winter lows and seems a bit more variable.

A difficult one. For citrus/ski Launceston is closest to skiing, but the skiing isn't reliable. Wagga has more reliable skiing, but a three hour drive is just a bit too far for a day ski.

Will go with Wagga Wagga - will just have to do overnighters.

Plenty of acceptable climates on here though.
