Which of the 2 climates would you prefer. Dry and variable Isfahan:  Wet and variable Wichita Falls:  Hard for me to decide, both are equally matched. Although Isfahan is slightly colder in winter, the lack of any precip in summer would be bad. Wichita falls gets good storms, but winters are not cold enough. |

Calling Wichita Falls "wet" is a stretch. Calling Isfahan "variable" is even more of a stretch. That being said Wichita Falls is obviously better.

I’ll go with Wichita Falls. Isfahan is just too dry in winter, and Wichita Falls still has some dryish summers.

So hard to choose. Both are "bad climate examples" of their countries.
I guess I'll go with Isfahan, but only by a hair. I take it that Wichita Falls may be prone to extreme humidity in the summer.
