The craziest thing about that map is that Ifrane, Morocco is a tropical paradise according to it along with SE China being labeled as “subequatorial”

The automatic assumption that gets made like on City-Data forum, that warmer and sunnier in summer = "better".

The automatic assumption that gets made like on City-Data forum, that warmer and sunnier in summer = "better". I would say this is true for most of the world's population. Within limits of course. People would most likely prefer Malaga summer's than Nicosia which gets a bit too hot. Sunshine again is essential for what people regard as a perfect summer

Context: Someone mentioned in the Youtube comments section that NZ and UK both have oceanic climates, then this NZ botev came along.
"Climates are actually completely different. This is a common misconception. Temperatures year round in New Zealand average close to 10° hotter than the UK and precipitation levels are probably 15% of that in the UK."
"my source is from living in both new zealand and the UK. It is a humid subtropical climate for sure. Throughout the summer the humidity is at 100% most of the time. The koppen classification is completely wrong.
NZ vs UK Summer High 30°- High 20° Winter 10°+ - below 10° "
"I'm sorry mate but the link you sent and the climate classifications for new zealand are wrong and outdated. Climates change. Maybe they used to be similar but now they are vastly different climates between the UK and new zealand."
"The most credible source for anything is first hand experience. If you cannot open yourself to accepting that then how credible does that make your videos?"

While it is silly for one to claim New Zealand and the UK have a similar climate as New Zealand within itself varies quite a bit temperature and precipitation wise I'd love to know where they got their own data and how on earth it is humid subtropical lol

“How dry, or moist, the air is can have a lot to do with it.
We’ve all heard people from Phoenix, AZ defend their extreme heat by saying “but it’s a dry heat”.
A dry 100 degrees fahrenheit can easily be easier to handle than a humid 80 degrees.
Same holds for cold. A dry 10 degree fahrenheit can be more comfortable than a humid 38 degrees.“

Having read over these descriptions, the PEI nei gei gubbernment really makes out the climate to be better than it is (well, minus the extreme snow/cold, they didn't hide that). They provide summer averages of 93ºF/70ºF, nearly perfect, but quite similar to much of the US Southeast, not anywhere in Canada. Even spring and autumn averages don't seem too bad at 71ºF/46ºF, but they're also fake as fuck.
TL;DR fuck PEIGEI and its botevist gubbernment. I want the CIA to overthrow the PEIGEI gubbernment.

Idiotic dribblers on social media and Farmers' Almanac continually preaching a "cold and snowy winter" every single fall. Spreading bullshit wank about "winter 2009-10 repeat" all because this is an El Nino year (yes, time will tell and while El Nino winters tend to be backloaded, they completely ignore other factors that caused that historically cold winter (namely -NAO/AO)).
