Okay, someone should replace the climate box with the 1991-2020 normals, but I'll start this one anyways. How would you rate the climate of Alamosa, CO? I'll give it a C-/D+. Way too cold nights most of the year.

F– (Z on the poll) Epitome of an anti-life climate. The arid summers make the severely cold winters 1,000x worse

E. Extremely polar lows year round, short lukewarm crummers. Atleast there is some crummer warmth to be had.

F+. Average highs are not too bad but those extreme average and record lows, along with the lack of mild/cold rain, make this climate box sickening to look at

D for dry. The large diurnal ranges are interesting and it probably gets a storm here and there, but not many. It's bizarre to have more 0F lows than ice days. For interest factor it's a B maybe an A, but I would not like living there.

C-/D+ Way too cold at night and way too dry. But highs are pretty good, and snowfall isn't bad.

D-. With seven months of sub-freezing lows I can't give this a higher grade. But it does at least have quite a few months with pleasant afternoon temps. I'm guessing it's pretty sunny - 3000ish hrs? It doesn't seem to get a lot of snow considering how cold it is, but the snow would add to the interest level. It probably gets some alright storms as well from time to time. I reckon I'd rather live here than somewhere like Christchurch TBH.

C. Interesting climate. At least you can feel proper warmth at certain hours during the summer.

i'm not a fan of heat, but something about the stickiness of subtropical climates enchants me...

Wow how special! A high diurnal range... Each box is very delicate and distinct... I don't like the climate. D.

B: It is nice and cold, but the summer nights are a bit too chilly and there isn't enough winter snow. Get me some of that high country weed, and I'll bump it up to an A. Glenwood springs is a better climate.

One of the most boring climates in Colorado, November-February is awful. Summer is decent though. D+.
